A superb effort by Ethan Gibbons hoisted the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (16-9) to a 4-0 win over the Chugiak Chinooks (10-14) on Friday at Loretta French Field.

Gibbons kept the Chugiak Chinooks off the board during his eight innings of work. Gibbons allowed three hits, no walks and struck out five.

Clint Manzo (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked five, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
