The El Dorado Broncos make the most of 6 hits in 6-2 victory over the Salina Bluejays

The El Dorado Broncos (1-0) and the Salina Bluejays (0-1) each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but the El Dorado Broncos capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 6-2 win at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

Tyler Coughenour racked up two RBIs on two hits for the El Dorado Broncos. He singled in the first and eighth innings.

Josh Stone looked sharp on the mound. The Salina Bluejays managed just two hits off of Stone, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Matt Robertson got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed two runs over six innings. Robertson struck out one, walked one and gave up seven hits.

Skyler Hill (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
