The DeLand Suns (17-10) beat the Orlando Monarchs (13-13) 4-2 in seven innings on Saturday at Conrad Park at Stetson Universi behind Thomas Kelly, who went 2-3.

Austin Lueck was solid at the plate for the Orlando Monarchs. Lueck went 3-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the second and fourth innings.

Brett Mueller improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the DeLand Suns. He allowed two runs over five innings. Mueller struck out three, walked three and gave up three hits.

Drew Gay (4-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
