Oldale leads the Indians AA to 10-1 victory

An impressive two-way performance from Jackson Oldale led the Indians AA (12-10) to a 10-1 win Sunday over the Dodgers AA, as Oldale came up huge at the dish and on the rubber.

Oldale put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Indians AA. He tripled in the fifth inning, doubled in the sixth inning, and singled in the third and seventh innings.

Oldale kept contact to a minimum, striking out nine the Dodgers AA (12-10) batters. Oldale allowed one earned run, five hits and four walks over seven innings.

Kevin Rossi was the lone bright spot for the Dodgers AA in the loss.

Rossi was hot from the plate for the Dodgers AA. Rossi went 1-4 and drove in one. He tripled in the third inning.

Rossi looked sharp on the mound. The Indians AA managed just one hit off of Rossi, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his 1 1/3 innings of work.

The Indians AA blew out the Dodgers AA thanks to nine hits, including zero extra base hits. The Indians AA scored five runs in the sixth on a two-run double by Oldale, an RBI triple by Evan Vellutini, an RBI double by Sam Wilson, and an RBI single by Ryan Knight.

Kevin Boras couldn't get it done on the mound for the Dodgers AA, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.

Oldale, Vellutini and Wilson helped lead the Indians AA. They combined for six hits and five RBIs.
