A walk-off single from Jesse Olson brought home the winning run for the Sacramento Scorch (6-12) in an 8-7 victory over the Pro Player Baseball at Sierra Junior College on Friday.

Olson went a perfect 4-4 at the plate for the Sacramento Scorch. He singled in the second, sixth, eighth, and ninth innings.

The Pro Player Baseball's Nick Blaser was perfect at the dish, going 4-4. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.

Adam Crossman recorded his first win of the year for the Sacramento Scorch. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Ryan Mason couldn't get it done on the hill for the Pro Player Baseball, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
