The Auburn Wildcats (15-6) took down the Salinas Tomahawks (0-19) 15-4 on Sunday after slamming the Salinas Tomahawks with nine runs in the sixth inning.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the fifth, with five lead changes.

Ethan McGill racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Auburn Wildcats. He singled in the second and fourth innings and homered in the fifth inning.

Jacob Cook struck out eight, paving the way for a the Auburn Wildcats win. Cook allowed two earned runs, five hits and two walks over six innings.

Josh McCaffery (0-5) took the loss for the Salinas Tomahawks. He allowed six runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.

The Auburn Wildcats easily handled the Salinas Tomahawks pitching as six hitters combined for 16 hits, 14 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
