Friday was a great day for Billy Windship, as he hit two home runs to carry the Selden Stingrays (9-13) to a 10-9 victory over the IGA SOFTBALL (19-5) at East Islip Marina Field #1 in seven innings.
Windship racked up seven RBIs on three hits for the Selden Stingrays. He homered in the first and third innings and singled in the seventh inning.
Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 19 runs and 29 hits, including zero extra base hits.
The game was back-and-forth heading into the seventh, with five lead changes.
James Fanning had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the sixth inning and tripled in the seventh inning.
