Evan Rivera went a perfect 2-2 at the dish for the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Kevin Wortman was solid at the plate for the Sanford River Rats. Wortman went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third inning.

Kevin Gude recorded his second win of the year for the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs. Gude struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.

Jason Boyer (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
