The Dodgers AA (12-6) beat the Rockies AA (7-14) 7-3 in seven innings on Sunday at Optimist #4 behind Kevin Rossi, who went 2-3.

Kevin Boras picked up the win for the Dodgers AA. Boras pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and three walks while striking out five.

Tyler Schmidt was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Dodgers AA batters and allowing two runs.

The Rockies AA were led by Raiden DeDominicis's hitting. DeDominicis went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Darren Senyk was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked five, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
