Richard Marin came up big at the dish and on the bump, leading the Dodgers AA (10-5) to a 9-2 win over the Giants AA on Wednesday at Glenmore #3.
Marin went a perfect 5-5 at the plate for the Dodgers AA. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the first, fourth, sixth, and seventh innings.
The Giants AA (8-8) had no answer for Marin, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Giants AA managed just one hit off of Marin, who allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out seven during his five innings of work.
The Dodgers AA blew out the Giants AA thanks to 10 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Dodgers AA scored four runs in the second on a groundout by Brad Karas, a two-run double by Marin, and an error.
Jacob Cuch was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked five, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
