The Giants AA scored on an RBI single by Alex Morrissette in the fifth inning, , , a single by Elijah Thoen, a sacrifice fly by Braydon Hanson, a single by Jacob Cuch, an RBI single by Nathan Ragonese, an error, and a sacrifice fly by Morrissette in the sixth inning, and an RBI single by Ragonese and an RBI single by Ragonese in the seventh inning. Despite their efforts, the Giants AA couldn't get over the hump.
Sam Wilson led the Indians AA's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the fourth and fifth innings.
Evan Vellutini improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Indians AA. He allowed one run over three innings. He struck out two, walked five and surrendered one hit.
Justin Johnston ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked four and struck out two.
