The Bad News Blackout's offense erupts for 14 runs in blowout victory over the Que Pasa Pitches

The Bad News Blackout (9-8) continued to pile up the runs on Tuesday, scoring four runs in the seventh inning, on the way to a 14-4 landslide win over the Que Pasa Pitches (0-19) at Colonial Springs.

The Bad News Blackout scored six runs in the fourth on an RBI triple by Rob Ryan, an RBI single by Greg Martella, a groundout by Nick Jones, an RBI double by Scott Merto, an RBI double by Mike Dellefemire, and a sacrifice fly by Ryan Parnell.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the third, with four lead changes.

Nick Desposito put himself in scoring position with three extra-base hits for the Bad News Blackout. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the first, fourth, and seventh innings.

The Que Pasa Pitches were led by a flawless day at the dish by Delwing Manzueta, who went 3-3 against the Bad News Blackout's pitching. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.

Martella recorded his third win of the year for the Bad News Blackout. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Martella struck out none, walked one and gave up 10 hits.

Greg Snead was charged with his seventh loss of the year. He allowed 14 runs in seven innings, walked none and struck out none.

The Bad News Blackout pounded the Que Pasa Pitches pitching, as six hitters combined for 18 hits, 12 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
