Alvin Colina went 1-3 and hit a home run, helping the Camden Riversharks (23-23) to a 4-0 victory over the Bridgeport Bluefish (20-26) on Wednesday at Harbor Yard.
He homered in the fourth inning.The Bridgeport Bluefish had no answer for Ricky Brooks, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Bridgeport Bluefish managed just two hits off of the the Camden Riversharks' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out two during his five innings of work.
Mike Tarsi shut down the Camden Riversharks while he was on the mound. Tarsi held the Camden Riversharks hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.
Tobi Stoner couldn't get it done on the hill for the Bridgeport Bluefish, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
