Pointstreak's terminal works on standard high-speed Internet connections and commercially available networking equipment. This allows for an installation process that's as simple and easy as setting up a home network. There are two installation options to choose from:

  • Plug-n-play installation
  • Onsite installation
Plug-n-play (self-installation)

The "plug-n-play" option saves you money by allowing you or your technical staff, with the assistance of Pointstreak Support, to setup a network. Once a proper network is setup, Pointstreak will ship you a plug-n-play terminal that is ready to work right out of the box. Training and technical troubleshooting are done over the phone, by email or through documentation. By choosing the plug-n-play option, you save yourself the additional cost of an onsite installation.

Onsite Installation

For an additional cost above the cost of Pointstreak's service or hardware, Pointstreak will physically come to your facility and setup a network, install the Pointstreak terminal and train personnel onsite. Prior to an onsite installation, you must ensure that a working, high-speed Internet-connection is available for Pointstreak's purposes.

Other Installation Information
Online Entry Tool

Pointstreak's online entry tool requires no installation or special hardware. All that is required is an Internet-connected computer with standard Internet browser software, such as Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. After signing up, Pointstreak Support will guide you through league set-up, training and any other support issues that you may have.

Laptop-based Solution

Pointstreak's laptop-based solution requires a laptop or desktop computer that is Microsoft Windows-based. To install the laptop-based solution, you simply download and run an installation program that will guide you through the rest of the installation process. After signing up, Pointstreak Support will guide you through league set-up, training and any other support issues that you may have.
