Roman Catholic JV shrugs off penalties, upends Downingtown West JV, 4-1IceLine Rink 2 Mon, Feb 08, 2016 Story by Narrative Science.
Despite having to fight off several power plays, Roman Catholic JV was able to defeat Downingtown West JV, 4-1. Roman Catholic JV was sparked by David Palestini, who racked up one goal. Palestini scored 9:41 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Roman Catholic JV. Roman Catholic JV excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances. Roman Catholic JV additionally got points from Nick Garsey, who also had one goal and one assist. Roman Catholic JV also got a goal from Marco Meschino as well. Downingtown West JV managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time.
