Owens nets hat trick, leads WC Rustin JV Blue to 9-2 win over Springfield JV

Springfield JV could not stop WC Rustin JV Blue's Matt Owens, who tallied a hat trick in a 9-2 win.

Owens got on the scoresheet 1:23 into the second period. He then added goals at 5:00 into the third and at 12:02 into the third.

WC Rustin JV Blue put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Springfield JV to score on any of its four power plays. WC Rustin JV Blue's offense rang up 36 shots on Springfield JV's net.
