SJ Prep JV Red failed to take advantage of its power play opportunities and Malvern JV shook off a number of penalties to win, 3-1. Malvern JV was paced by Charlie Andress, who grabbed one goal. Andress scored on the power play 7:20 into the third period to make the score 2-0 Malvern JV. Malvern JV had taken the advantage when SJ Prep JV Red's Daniel Stahl got sent off for high sticking. Nicholas Fantini assisted on the tally. Malvern JV excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in eight chances.
