In a game where neither team could get a cushion, WC Rustin JV Blue escaped with a 7-5 victory over OJR JV.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Vincent DeMarco secured the win for WC Rustin JV Blue with a goal in the third period.

WC Rustin JV Blue got the win thanks to a great game by Matt Owens, who had two goals and one assist. Owens scored the first of his two goals at 13:01 into the second period to make the score 4-3 WC Rustin JV Blue. Owens' next tally made the score 6-4 WC Rustin JV Blue with 14:23 left in the third period. David Carney assisted on the tally.

The defensemen of WC Rustin JV Blue were also effective in OJR JV's zone, and came away with three goals.

WC Rustin JV Blue also got points from Ian Strasinski, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and DeMarco, who also finished with one goal and one assist. WC Rustin JV Blue also got a goal from Bryan Widdis as well. In addition, WC Rustin JV Blue received assists from Brett Turner and Nicholas Ferraro, who each chipped in one.

OJR JV got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

OJR JV was led by Austin Mourar, who racked up two goals. Mourar scored the first of his two goals at 10:30 into the second period to make the score 3-3. Mourar's next tally made the score 4-4 with 17:58 left in the third period. Jacob Vitullo picked up the assist. OJR JV additionally got points from Andrew Hoffman, who also had one goal and one assist and Conner Patania, who also registered one goal and one assist. Tony Sheay also scored for OJR JV.
