WC Rustin JV Gold hangs on, beats WC Henderson JV 2-1

WC Rustin JV Gold beat WC Henderson JV, 2-1, in a contest where the winning goal was scored in the first period but the game remained close throughout.

A goal 4:37 into the first period by Nick Aurillo proved to be the game winner, and powered WC Rustin JV Gold to the victory. WC Rustin JV Gold earned a power play opportunity when Tyler Adolf was put in the box for roughing. Tyler Dougherty picked up the assist.

WC Rustin JV Gold's penalty kill excelled, as WC Rustin JV Gold gave up one goal despite allowing seven power plays.

WC Rustin JV Gold was led by Dougherty, who tallied one goal and one assist. Dougherty scored 14:57 into the first period to make the score 2-0 WC Rustin JV Gold. Evan Greenberg assisted on the tally.
