Downingtown West JV's comeback falls short, WC Henderson JV wins 6-4

WC Henderson JV, which led by four goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by Downingtown West JV and clinched a 6-4 victory.

WC Henderson JV led by four goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when WC Henderson JV's Evan Partridge scored at 6:10 in the first period to put WC Henderson JV up 4-0.

Tom Valvano had two goals and two assists to lead WC Henderson JV. Valvano scored the first of his two goals short handed at 1:31 into the first period to make the score 2-0 WC Henderson JV. Valvano's next tally short handed made the score 3-0 WC Henderson JV with 14:16 left in the first period.

WC Henderson JV put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Downingtown West JV to score on any of its three power plays.

WC Henderson JV also got points from Partridge, who also registered two goals and one assist. WC Henderson JV also had goals scored by Scott Sheridan and Adam Morrison, who scored one goal each. In addition, WC Henderson JV received assists from Jack Kilgallen, who had one.

Biskowitz's next tally made the score 4-2 WC Henderson JV with 7:49 left in the first period. Biskowitz picked up the assist. Downingtown West JV additionally got points from Drew Zaayenga, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Downingtown West JV also got a goal from Nate Filion as well. More assists for Downingtown West JV came via Stephen Reif, who had one.
