In a game where neither team could get a cushion, Downingtown East JV Blue escaped with a 4-2 victory over WC East JV.

Downingtown East JV Blue gained the winning advantage on a goal by Daniel Cook 8:18 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

Kostas Kourahanis had a great game for Downingtown East JV Blue, netting two goals. Kourahanis scored at 3:30 into the second period to make the score 1-1 and again while 9:05 into the third to make the score 4-2 Downingtown East JV Blue.

Downingtown East JV Blue pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 26 penalty minutes.

Downingtown East JV Blue kept WC East JV's goalie busy throughout the game, and Anthony Cupaiuolo made 30 saves on 34 shots.

Downingtown East JV Blue also got a goal from Patrick Sterritt as well. Other players who recorded assists for Downingtown East JV Blue were Zachary Haberman and Ethan Clay, who each chipped in one.

WC East JV was helped by Sean Heard, who racked up one goal. Heard scored 32 seconds into the second period to make the score 1-0 WC East JV. Joseph Galitski also scored for WC East JV.

Benjamin Silver recorded 15 saves for Downingtown East JV Blue. Downingtown East JV Blue registered zero goals on zero power play opportunities. WC East JV incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
