Springfield JV's Sadoff deadly on offense in 6-1 win against Ridley JV

Behind a great game by Connor Sadoff, who had two goals, Springfield JV defeated Ridley JV, 6-1.

Sadoff scored at 10:13 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Springfield JV and again while on the power play 11:13 into the third to make the score 4-1 Springfield JV.

The defensemen of Springfield JV were also effective in Ridley JV's zone, and came away with two goals.

Springfield JV additionally got points from Nick Canavin, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points, Brendan McCloskey, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Justin Bush, who also had one goal and one assist. Springfield JV also got a goal from David Duffy as well. Other players who recorded assists for Springfield JV were Ian Hershey, who had two and Greg Vinci, Quinlan Walsh, Scott Oslar, and Geno Romolini, who each chipped in one.

Ridley JV's offense was handcuffed by Springfield JV's defensive play, and Ridley JV managed only eight shots on goal during the game.

Ridley JV was led by Colin VanAtta, who scored the team's only goal. VanAtta scored 3:30 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Springfield JV. Reece Borak assisted on the tally.

Springfield JV's Lachlan Plummer stopped seven shots out of the eight that he faced. Springfield JV incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Colin Powell made 21 saves for Ridley JV on 27 shots. Ridley JV incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
