Springfield JV and OHara JV were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Springfield JV made the most of its opportunities and won, 3-2.

Neither team gained more than a one-goal lead, and Aidan Smith's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

Springfield JV pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 20 penalty minutes.

Springfield JV was sparked by Smith, who tallied one goal and one assist. Smith scored 14:13 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Springfield JV.

Springfield JV excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances. OHara JV was unable to stop Springfield JV from sending pucks towards the net, and Springfield JV eventually piled up 32 shots on goal.

Springfield JV also had goals scored by Brendan McCloskey and Ian Hershey, who each put in one. In addition, Springfield JV received assists from Nick DePrinzio, who had one.

OHara JV put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Springfield JV to score on any of its five power plays.

OHara JV was helped by Sam Simms, who finished with one goal. Simms scored 4:31 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Zac Deemer also scored for OHara JV.

Lachlan Plummer made 26 saves for Springfield JV on 28 shots. Angelo Losardo recorded 29 saves for OHara JV. OHara JV incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
