WC Rustin JV Blue took a 4-1 lead during the second period, only to have Springford JV storm back on a Thomas Freed goal 4:01 into the third period to pull to two goals down.

Lucas Christie was all over the ice for WC Rustin JV Blue, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Christie scored 1:19 into the first period to make the score 1-0 WC Rustin JV Blue. Matt Hill picked up the assist.

WC Rustin JV Blue excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Springford JV was unable to stop WC Rustin JV Blue from sending pucks towards the net, and WC Rustin JV Blue eventually piled up 37 shots on goal.
