Garnet-Haven JV tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but Ridley JV would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 5-4. Ridley JV took a 5-3 lead during the third period, only to have Garnet-Haven JV storm back on a Joseph Shull goal 11:32 into the third period to pull to one goal down. Eric Miller was all over the ice for Ridley JV, as he tallied four goals and one assist in the win. Miller got on the scoresheet 12:38 into the first period. He then added goals at 6:07 into the second and at 7:57 into the second. Garnet-Haven JV's defense shut down Ridley JV's forwards for much of the game, and Ridley JV got off only 12 shots during the contest. Ridley JV also got points from Lefkof Brian, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. In addition, Ridley JV received assists from Andrew Moran, who had one. Garnet-Haven JV did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 14 shots on net to force 10 saves. Gracein Hoyle also scored for Garnet-Haven JV. Other players who recorded assists for Garnet-Haven JV were Tyler Shaugnnessy, who had one and Daniel Carlin and Simon Abukasis, who contributed two each. Colin Powell made 10 saves for Ridley JV on 14 shots. Ridley JV incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
