Downingtown East JV_1 rolls over Downingtown West JV, 8-3

Downingtown East JV_1 had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to an 8-3 win over Downingtown West JV.

Patrick Sterritt had two goals and two assists to lead Downingtown East JV_1. Sterritt scored the first of his two goals at 5:53 into the second period to make the score 5-3 Downingtown East JV_1. Dustin Fisher provided the assist. Sterritt's next tally made the score 7-3 Downingtown East JV_1 with 6:45 left in the second period.

Downingtown West JV was unable to stop Downingtown East JV_1 from sending pucks towards the net, and Downingtown East JV_1 eventually piled up 36 shots on goal. Downingtown East JV_1 got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Downingtown East JV_1 additionally got points from Kostas Kourahanis, who also registered one goal and one assist. Downingtown East JV_1 also had goals scored by Daniel Cook, who had two and Parker Berry, Conner Kloss, and Luke Gilpin, who each put in one. More assists for Downingtown East JV_1 came via Ben Diehl, who had one.

Downingtown West JV was helped by Ryan Biskowitz, who racked up one goal. Biskowitz scored 3:53 into the second period to make the score 4-3 Downingtown East JV_1. Downingtown West JV also got points from Joshua Biskowitz, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Downingtown West JV also got a goal from Mitchell Patterson as well. In addition, Downingtown West JV received assists from Nate Filion and Simon Gosselin, who each chipped in one.

Benjamin Silver rejected 14 shots on goal for Downingtown East JV_1. Downingtown East JV_1 incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. William Jennings recorded 28 saves for Downingtown West JV. Downingtown West JV incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
