Boyertown JV and PV-VFMA skate to 4-4 tie

PV-VFMA rebounded from a three-goal deficit to tie Boyertown JV, 4-4.

Boyertown JV got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Boyertown JV was helped by Cole Novak, who grabbed one goal. Novak scored 5:37 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Boyertown JV. Kyle Stephens picked up the assist. Boyertown JV also got points from Sean Quinn, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Boyertown JV also had goals scored by Ricky Gerhart and Zachary Rath, who scored one goal each. In addition, Boyertown JV received assists from Kelsey Showers and Kevin Bonmer, who contributed one each.

PV-VFMA managed to stay out of the box for the most part, registering one minor for 12 minutes in penalty time. However, the total the 10.0 minutes in penalty time per game PV-VFMA had been averaging this year.

PV-VFMA was led by Jake Furlong, who had two goals. Furlong scored the first of his two goals at 13:59 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Boyertown JV. Braden Harmon assisted on the tally. Furlong's next tally made the score 3-2 Boyertown JV with 14:30 left in the third period. Oliver Duffey picked up the assist. PV-VFMA additionally got points from Jacob Bossert, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. PV-VFMA also got a goal from Cabel Graham as well. More assists for PV-VFMA came via Argen Detoito, who had one.

Boyertown JV's Alex Jacobs stopped 12 shots out of the 16 that he faced. Boyertown JV incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Hunter Thomas made 26 saves for PV-VFMA on 30 shots. PV-VFMA registered one goal on three power play opportunities.
