Watson nets hat trick, leads OJR JV to 12-2 win over Boyertown JV

Boyertown JV could not stop OJR JV's Bailey Watson, who tallied a hat trick in a 12-2 win.

Watson's first goal came 11:39 into the first period. He then added goals at 2:33 into the third and at 8:24 into the third.

OJR JV forced Boyertown JV goalie Alex Jacobs to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots. OJR JV outdid its season average for goals scored. This season, OJR JV averages 6.3 goals per contest.

OJR JV additionally got points from Ed Keegan, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Ethan Wiley, who also had two goals and one assist, Timmy Diechert, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Jacob Vitullo, who also registered one goal and three assists. Conner Patania also scored for OJR JV. In addition, OJR JV received assists from Gordie Delano, who had two, Andrew Gibson, who had three, and Natalie Keegan, James Donnelly, and PJ Sullivan, who contributed one each.

Boyertown JV was led by Cole Novak, who finished with one goal and one assist. Novak scored 7:31 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Boyertown JV also got a goal from Leo Richards as well.

OJR JV took out Anna Diehl after he had made eight saves and installed Zach Shepker in goal, where he finished with seven saves and the win. OJR JV ended with no penalties and went 0-for-0 on the power play. Jacobs rejected 22 shots on goal for Boyertown JV. Boyertown JV avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of zero power plays.
