Salesianum JV survived a determined comeback attempt by AB Ryan JV on the way to a 5-4 win.

A goal by tyler Gallo put Salesianum JV up 5-2 in the third period, but AB Ryan JV pulled to within one on Ryan Hearn's tally 14:16 into the third period.

Matt Young was all over the ice for Salesianum JV, as he racked up two goals in the win. Young scored at 11:29 into the second period to make the score 2-1 AB Ryan JV and again while 19 seconds into the third to make the score 3-2 Salesianum JV.

Salesianum JV got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed three goals during the game.

Salesianum JV additionally got points from Gallo, who also had one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. Salesianum JV also had goals scored by Riley Shearon and Anthony Leo, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Salesianum JV were Timothy Flynn and Liam Magargal, who contributed one each.

AB Ryan JV managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. AB Ryan JV finished below its season average of 13.0 penalty minutes per game.
