Garnet Valley GV takes care of Conestoga GV early, wins 10-0

A four-goal first period deficit cost Conestoga GV, which could not recover and fell to Garnet Valley GV, 10-0.

Garnet Valley GV got the win thanks to a great game by Emilie Kennedy, who had two goals and two assists. Kennedy scored the first of his two goals at 1:10 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Garnet Valley GV. Abby Shows picked up the assist. Kennedy's next tally made the score 9-0 Garnet Valley GV with 9:55 left in the third period. Allessandra Filippone assisted on the tally.

Garnet Valley GV's offense rang up 83 shots on Conestoga GV's net. Garnet Valley GV surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Garnet Valley GV averages 6.1 goals per game. Garnet Valley GV did not rack up many penalties in the contest, registering only one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Garnet Valley GV got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed five goals during the game.

Garnet Valley GV also got points from Shows, who also registered two goals and two assists and Rachel Craig, who also racked up two goals and one assist. Garnet Valley GV also had goals scored by Jennifer Goldstein, who had two and Alana Lamplugh and Maddison Humes, who each put in one. More assists for Garnet Valley GV came via Olivia Black and Maddy OMalley, who contributed two each.
