Close's hat trick boosts Unionville GV over Shanahan GV, 10-0

Hannah Close lifted Unionville GV to a 10-0 victory with a hat trick against Shanahan GV.

Close notched his first tally 1:35 into the first period. He then added goals at 3:36 into the first and at 10:43 into the second.

Unionville GV scored early and often, and held a 5-0 advantage after the first 20 minutes of play.

Unionville GV featured an improved defense during the game. Unionville GV gives up 2.1 goals on average per game. Unionville GV got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.
