Downingtown West GV survived a determined comeback attempt by Strath Haven GV on the way to a 5-4 win.

Downingtown West GV made the score 4-2 on a goal by Delaney Carle at 1:59 in the third period, and Strath Haven GV got as close as 4-3 when Maeve Hiehle scored 4:42 into the third period.

Carle had four goals to lead Downingtown West GV to victory. Carle's first goal came 39 seconds into the first period. He then added goals at 4:36 into the second and at 14:20 into the third.

Downingtown West GV managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Downingtown West GV ended up below its season average of 3.0 penalty minutes per game. Downingtown West GV's offense rang up 31 shots on Strath Haven GV's net.

Downingtown West GV also got a goal from Elizabeth DGinto as well. More assists for Downingtown West GV came via Cameron Brady, who had one and Samantha Schultz, who had two.
