Strath Haven GV's Shin deadly on offense in 7-2 win against Radnor GV

Behind a great game by Ainsley Shin, who had two goals, Strath Haven GV defeated Radnor GV, 7-2.

Shin found the back of the net 4:45 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Strath Haven GV and again while 6:33 into the second to make the score 4-2 Strath Haven GV.

Strath Haven GV pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 14 penalty minutes.

Strath Haven GV stifled Radnor GV's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Strath Haven GV's offense rang up 35 shots on Radnor GV's net. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Strath Haven GV additionally got points from Maeve Hiehle, who also registered one goal and two assists, Ciera Cuenca, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Sarah Peichel, who also grabbed one goal and three assists to lead the team in points, and Nadia Stellabotte, who also had two goals and one assist. In addition, Strath Haven GV received assists from Eleanor Miller, who had two.

Radnor GV did not rack up many penalties in the contest, registering only one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

Radnor GV was helped by Lindsey Coffey, who racked up one goal. Coffey scored 2:30 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Radnor GV. Radnor GV also got a goal from Lauren Rader as well.

Maggie Fleming rejected 17 shots on goal for Strath Haven GV. Strath Haven GV registered one goal on one power play opportunities. Tessa Landry made 28 saves for Radnor GV on 35 shots. Radnor GV registered zero goals on seven power play opportunities.
