IceLine Rink 2    Fri, Dec 04, 2015

Shanahan GV had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-0 win over Radnor GV.

Shanahan GV got the win on the strength of a great game by Christine Lampron, who had two goals and four assists. Lampron scored the first of his two goals at 46 seconds into the third period to make the score 4-0 Shanahan GV. Lampron's next tally made the score 5-0 Shanahan GV with 16:31 left in the third period.

Shanahan GV's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Radnor GV power plays. Radnor GV was unable to stop Shanahan GV from sending pucks towards the net, and Shanahan GV eventually piled up 58 shots on goal.

Others who scored for Shanahan GV included Alexa Gilligan, who had two and Meghan Rock and Susan Roselli, who each put in one.

Radnor GV put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Shanahan GV to score on any of its three power plays. Radnor GV did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. Radnor GV averages 3.3 goals per game. Radnor GV found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere four shots against Shanahan GV's defense.

Shanahan GV's Cassie ODonnell stopped four shots out of the four that he faced. Shanahan GV incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Tessa Landry made 52 saves for Radnor GV on 58 shots. Radnor GV incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
