St. Louis Selects 18U vanquishes New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U in shootout, 2-1

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as St. Louis Selects 18U defeated New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U in a shootout 2-1.

The shootout lasted for two attempts between the teams.

St. Louis Selects 18U came back from a one-goal deficit to capture the victory. St. Louis Selects 18U was down 1-0 after a goal by New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U's Bobby Freiling at 6:03 in the first period. St. Louis Selects 18U knotted things up at 1-1 on a goal by Michael Schrader at 15:44 in the third period.
