The Kingston Voyageurs had trouble finding ways to stop the Toronto Patriots Patriots, which beat Voyageurs, 6-1. The win by Toronto Patriots broke a deadlock and gave the Patriots a 2-1 advantage in the best of seven series. Toronto Patriots was led by Mitch Emerson, who tallied one goal. Emerson scored 4:07 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Toronto Patriots. Nathan Feric picked up the assist. The Patriots forced Kingston's goaltenders to work between the pipes, ripping 39 shots and forcing 33 saves. Daniel Urbani made 14 stops and Matt Penta made 19. Toronto Patriots stifled the Voyageurs' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. Toronto Patriots also got points from Jacob Hayhurst, who also registered two goals and one assist to lead the team in points and Marcus Rose, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Toronto Patriots also had goals scored by Mario Ferraro and Kody Gagnon, who scored one goal each. More assists for Toronto Patriots came via Tyler Currie, Nico Gonzalez, Quinn Syrydiuk, and Jeremy Pullara, who contributed one each and Niko Kovachis and Louis DiMatteo, who each chipped in two. Mathew Robson rejected 24 shots on goal for the Patriots. Toronto Patriots incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Kingston incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
