A stellar performance between the pipes by Nathan Colitto helped the Toronto Jr. Canadiens Junior Canadiens defeat the Toronto Patriots Patriots, 3-1. The win by Toronto Jr. Canadiens broke a deadlock and gave the Junior Canadiens a 2-1 advantage in the best of seven series. Toronto Jr. Canadiens was led by Andrew Mullen, who racked up one goal. Mullen scored 7:14 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Toronto Jr. Canadiens. Aaron Spivak picked up the assist. Toronto Jr. Canadiens also had goals scored by Michael Cuddemi and Anthony Repaci, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Toronto Jr. Canadiens were Matthew Ferrari, Andrew Pucci, Ryan MacSpadyen, and Justin Maiolino, who each chipped in one. Toronto Patriots was led by Louis DiMatteo, who scored the team's only goal. DiMatteo scored 13:09 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Toronto Patriots. Nicholas Geiser assisted on the tally. The Junior Canadiens' Colitto stopped 26 shots out of the 27 that he faced. Toronto Jr. Canadiens incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. For the Junior Canadiens, Kennedy Duguid was ejected from the game. Mathew Robson took the loss and made 15 saves before being replaced by Emanuel Vella who made 12 saves. The Patriots incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
