The Toronto Patriots Patriots tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the Oakville Blades would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 2-1. Oakville took a 2-0 lead during the third period, only to have Toronto Patriots storm back on a Mitch Emerson goal 19:42 into the third period to pull to one goal down. With the win, the Blades evened the series at 1-1 in the best of seven showdown. The Patriots were stymied by Oakville's netminder Daniel Mannella, who stopped 26 shots during the victory. Mannella certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.43 entering the contest. The Blades were paced by Tyler Rollo, who tallied one goal. Rollo scored 14:22 into the third period to make the score 2-0 Oakville. Ryan Burns provided the assist. Brandon Hughes also scored for Oakville. Other players who recorded assists for Oakville were Sean Kohler and Matt Lippa, who each chipped in one. Toronto Patriots stifled Oakville's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. In addition, Toronto Patriots received assists from Niko Kovachis and Nicholas Ursitti, who contributed one each. The Blades incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Patriots' Mathew Robson stopped 28 shots out of the 30 that he faced. Toronto Patriots incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. For the Patriots, Quinn Syrydiuk was ejected from the game.
