Aurora falls to Kingston in overtime, 3-2 (OT)INVISTA Center Sun, Mar 22, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
The Kingston Voyageurs' Adam Brady scored 3:39 into overtime to beat the Aurora Tigers, 3-2 (OT). With the win, Kingston avoided elimination to make the series score 3-3 in the best of seven series. The Voyageurs got the win with help from a great game by Spencer Green, who had one goal and two assists. Green scored nine seconds into the third period to make the score 2-1 Kingston. Jaylon Gorman provided the assist. Aurora was unable to stop Kingston from sending pucks towards the net, and the Voyageurs eventually piled up 33 shots on goal. Kingston also got points from Brady, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Ryan Watson also scored for Kingston. Other players who recorded assists for Kingston were Alex Tonge and Joey Rutkowski, who each chipped in one. The Tigers kept Kingston's goalie busy throughout the game, and Daniel Urbani made 44 saves on 46 shots. Aurora did not rack up many penalties in the contest, totaling a minimal one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Tigers were helped by Michael Laidley, who racked up one goal. Laidley scored 8:48 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Matthew Bernard picked up the assist. Aurora also got a goal from Vince Figliomeni as well. In addition, Aurora received assists from Drake Board, who had one and Keaton Ratcliffe, who had two. The Voyageurs incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Marcus Semiao rejected 30 shots on goal for Aurora. The Tigers registered one goal on three power play opportunities.
