The Aurora Tigers' Kyle Locke had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 5-1 win over the Kingston Voyageurs. Locke scored short handed at 20 seconds into the second period to make the score 3-1 Aurora and again while 6:02 into the second to make the score 4-1 Aurora.After the loss made the series score 3-0 in the best of seven series, Kingston faces elimination next time out. Aurora forced the Voyageurs' goalies to work without much rest, finishing with 43 shots and forcing 38 saves. Matt Penta made 21 stops and Daniel Urbani made 17. The Tigers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. Aurora also got points from Johnny Curran, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Cameron Morrison, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Nicholas Erb also scored for Aurora. In addition, Aurora received assists from Michael Laidley, who had two and Drake Board, Vince Figliomeni, Keaton Ratcliffe, and Nolan Dunn, who each chipped in one. Kingston's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Aurora power plays. The Voyageurs were led by Cole Bolton, who scored the team's only goal. Bolton scored 9:16 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Alex Stothart provided the assist. Andy Munroe rejected 24 shots on goal for Aurora. The Tigers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Kingston incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
