Matt Penta had a standout game with 28 saves, and the Kingston Voyageurs beat the Stouffville Spirit 3-1. The win by Kingston clinched the best of seven series at 4-0. The Voyageurs were sparked by Joey Rutkowski, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Rutkowski scored 6:55 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Kingston. Joey Beaudoin picked up the assist. Kingston's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Stouffville power plays. Stouffville was unable to stop the Voyageurs from sending pucks towards the net, and Kingston eventually piled up 33 shots on goal. Kingston additionally got points from Adam Brady, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Alex Stothart also scored for Kingston. Other players who recorded assists for Kingston were Josh Hicks, Cole Bolton, and Spencer Green, who contributed one each. The Spirit were led by John Jon Loncaric, who scored the team's only goal. Loncaric scored 5:39 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Stouffville. Matthew Dunlop assisted on the tally. The Voyageurs incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Kingston ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Rutkowski was ejected from the game. Aaron Taylor made 30 saves for Stouffville on 33 shots. The Spirit incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. For Stouffville, Joseph Deveny was ejected from the game.
