The Oakville Blades and the Orangeville Flyers were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Oakville made the most of its opportunities and won, 3-2. Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Max Lindsay secured the win for the Blades with a goal in the third period. With the win, Oakville avoided elimination to make the series score 3-3 in the best of seven series. The Blades were paced by Lindsay, who registered one goal and one assist. Lindsay scored 11:40 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Oakville. Matt Lippa assisted on the tally. Oakville kept Orangeville's goalie busy throughout the game, and Wyatt Pickrell made 29 saves on 32 shots. Oakville additionally got points from Brandon Hughes, who also registered one goal and one assist. Austin Broadhurst also scored for Oakville. Other players who recorded assists for Oakville were Matthew McLeod and Greg Campbell, who each chipped in one. The Flyers did not rack up many penalties in the contest, totaling just one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Orangeville was helped by James McLaughlin, who finished with one goal. McLaughlin scored 3:21 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Kosta Likourezos picked up the assist. Orangeville also got a goal from Connor Stack as well. In addition, Orangeville received assists from Colin Rigney, Daniel DeRose, and Lucas Smilsky, who contributed one each. Daniel Mannella rejected 23 shots on goal for the Blades. Oakville ended with no penalties and went 0-for-1 on the power play. The Flyers registered zero goals on zero power play opportunities.
