Kennedy Duguid had one point to lead the Toronto Jr. Canadiens Junior Canadiens to a 4-1 victory over the North York Rangers. The win gave Toronto Jr. Canadiens a 2-0 lead in the best of seven series. North York was unable to stop the Junior Canadiens from sending pucks towards the net, and Toronto Jr. Canadiens eventually piled up 48 shots on goal. The defensemen of the Junior Canadiens were also effective in the Rangers' zone, and came away with two goals. Toronto Jr. Canadiens also got points from Luca Farrace, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Toronto Jr. Canadiens included Andrew Pucci and Andrew Mullen, who each put in one. In addition, Toronto Jr. Canadiens received assists from Matthew Ferrari, Cody Symonds, Ryan MacSpadyen, Justin Maiolino, and Sal Filice, who contributed one each. Nathan Colitto made 23 saves for Toronto Jr. Canadiens on 24 shots. The Junior Canadiens incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. North York's Gianluca Baggetta stopped 44 shots out of the 48 that he faced. The Rangers incurred 28 minutes in penalty time with nine minors.
