Omaha AAA 14U survives HC Dallas 14U comeback, wins 4-3

HC Dallas 14U tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but Omaha AAA 14U would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3.

A goal by Logan Will put Omaha AAA 14U up 4-2 in the third period, but HC Dallas 14U pulled to within one on Roope Raikaa's tally 15:59 into the third period.

Omaha AAA 14U got the win with help from a great game by Will, who had one goal and two assists. Will scored 15:25 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Omaha AAA 14U. Ethan Rodriguez picked up the assist.

Omaha AAA 14U's offense rang up 32 shots on HC Dallas 14U's net. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Omaha AAA 14U also got points from Jacob Felker, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Omaha AAA 14U also had goals scored by Jack Craycroft and Brennan Couet, who each put in one. In addition, Omaha AAA 14U received assists from Coltan Wilkie, who had one.

HC Dallas 14U excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in seven chances. Omaha AAA 14U was unable to stop HC Dallas 14U from sending pucks towards the net, and HC Dallas 14U eventually piled up 31 shots on goal.

HC Dallas 14U was helped by Joesph Demers, who registered one goal. Demers scored on the power play 12:54 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Omaha AAA 14U. An interference penalty on Couet had put HC Dallas 14U on the power play. Brian Blake provided the assist. HC Dallas 14U also got a goal from TY Black as well. Other players who recorded assists for HC Dallas 14U were Michael Krupinski, who had one.

Alex Henson rejected 28 shots on goal for Omaha AAA 14U. Omaha AAA 14U incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Abram Seigel recorded 28 saves for HC Dallas 14U. HC Dallas 14U incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
