New Jersey Jr. Titans 14U rolls over West Coast Renegades 14U, 9-0

New Jersey Jr. Titans 14U had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 9-0 win over West Coast Renegades 14U.

West Coast Renegades 14U was doomed by its poor performance on special teams, as New Jersey Jr. Titans 14U was able to score four times while on the power play.

New Jersey Jr. Titans 14U was led by Jason Shulman, who registered one goal and one assist. Shulman scored 6:51 into the first period to make the score 1-0 New Jersey Jr. Titans 14U. Larry Hooper provided the assist.

New Jersey Jr. Titans 14U forced West Coast Renegades 14U's netminders to work all game long, ripping 39 shots and forcing 30 saves. Isaiah Bennett made 29 stops and Titan Anderson made one. New Jersey Jr. Titans 14U's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six West Coast Renegades 14U power plays.

New Jersey Jr. Titans 14U additionally got points from Christian Benedict, who also tallied two goals and one assist. Others who scored for New Jersey Jr. Titans 14U included Christian Bechamps, who had two and Craig Bahrs, Sam Fishteyn, Julian Boisclair, and John Gelatt, who each put in one. In addition, New Jersey Jr. Titans 14U received assists from Max Nicholson, who had one and Tommy Falletta and Nick Lioudakis, who each chipped in two.

New Jersey Jr. Titans 14U's defense shut down West Coast Renegades 14U's forwards for much of the game, and West Coast Renegades 14U got off only 11 shots during the contest.

Anthony Del Tufo rejected 11 shots on goal for New Jersey Jr. Titans 14U. New Jersey Jr. Titans 14U incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. West Coast Renegades 14U ended with 35 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major. West Coast Renegades 14U ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Brandamour Beard was ejected from the game.
