Rittner Buam took a 3-0 lead during the second period, only to have SV Caldaro Rothoblaas storm back on a Jakub Sindel goal 4:11 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

Rittner Buam was paced by Ivan Tauferer, who grabbed one goal. Tauferer scored 5:12 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Rittner Buam. Emanuel Scelfo assisted on the tally.
