A goal by Eric Johansson put Rittner Buam up 5-2 in the third period, but SSI Vipiteno Weihenstephan pulled to within one on Christian Sottsas's tally 16:23 into the third period. The defensemen of Rittner Buam were also effective in the Broncos' zone, and came away with two goals. Rittner Buam was led by Max Ploner, who grabbed two goals. Ploner scored the first of his two goals at 1:49 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Rittner Buam. Luca Felicetti assisted on the tally.
