Missoula Maulers survived a determined comeback attempt by Seattle Totems on the way to a 6-4 win. A goal by Alex Shalamov put Missoula Maulers up 6-2 in the third period, but Seattle Totems pulled to within two on Marek Nemec's tally 14:33 into the third period. Sawyer Jacobson had two goals and two assists to lead Missoula Maulers. Jacobson scored the first of his two goals at 47 seconds into the third period to make the score 4-1 Missoula Maulers. Henrik Ekestahl provided the assist. Jacobson's next tally made the score 5-1 Missoula Maulers with 14:37 left in the third period. Sam Sevcik assisted on the tally. Missoula Maulers forced Seattle Totems' goalies to work all game long, taking 49 shots and forcing 43 saves. Angus Campbell made 17 stops and Anton Vigre made 26. Missoula Maulers also got points from Sevcik, who also tallied two goals and one assist and Corey Schafer, who also had one goal and two assists. More assists for Missoula Maulers came via Joey Porco and Edward Pollon, who each chipped in one. Seattle Totems managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Seattle Totems finished below its season average of 16.0 penalty minutes per game. Seattle Totems was led by August Cnattingius, who racked up one goal and one assist. Cnattingius scored 17:44 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Nathan Carter provided the assist. Seattle Totems additionally got points from Lukas Vendis, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Adam Alfoldy also scored for Seattle Totems.
