Colorado Eagles' Ulland deadly on offense in 15-0 win against Colorado Evolution

Colorado Eagles relied on the scoring touch of Tanner Ulland, who netted four goals, to beat Colorado Evolution, 15-0.

Ulland's first goal came 8:29 into the first period. He then added goals at 8:54 into the first, at 7:58 into the second, and at 14:06 into the third.

Both goalies were tossed from the game during the major incident in the second period.

Colorado Eagles racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with six minors and two majors for 32 minutes in penalty time. Colorado Eagles surpassed its season average of 13.0 penalty minutes per game. Colorado Eagles forced Colorado Evolution's goaltenders to work in net, racking up 60 shots and forcing 45 saves. Maksims Resetnikovs made 15 stops and Sergii Pysarenko made 30. Colorado Eagles stifled Colorado Evolution's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Colorado Eagles' defense was surprisingly good. Colorado Eagles allows 2.5 goals per game. Colorado Eagles surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Colorado Eagles has scored at the pace of 4.5 goals per game during the current campaign. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Colorado Eagles additionally got points from Johnanthan Docherty, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Ty Hubbard, who also finished with one goal and three assists, Riley Roberts, who also registered two goals and one assist, and Levi Weber, who also grabbed two goals and one assist. Tyler Weber also scored for Colorado Eagles. In addition, Colorado Eagles received assists from Jackson Wallis, who had three, Scott Smoot, who had five, Tyrel Charlton, Ben Gundry, David Barbour, Nick Davidson, and Quinn Wold, who each chipped in one, and Nick Buchholtz and Cade Warner, who contributed two each.

Colorado Evolution totaled 28 minutes in penalty time with four minors and two majors and went 0-for-4 on the power play. For Colorado Evolution, Resetnikovs was ejected from the game.
