Seyfert nets hat trick, leads Ogden Mustangs to 9-0 win over Colorado Evolution

Schuyler Seyfert netted a hat trick to lead Ogden Mustangs over Colorado Evolution, 9-0.

Seyfert got on the scoresheet 8:35 into the first period. He then added goals at 17:32 into the first and at 4:13 into the third.

Ogden Mustangs excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Ogden Mustangs' defense was surprisingly good. Ogden Mustangs averages 2.6 goals allowed per game. Ogden Mustangs' offense rang up 58 shots on Colorado Evolution's net. Ogden Mustangs' goal total was higher than its season average. Ogden Mustangs has scored at the pace of 4.4 goals per game during the current campaign.

Ogden Mustangs additionally got points from Jakob Engvall, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Jon Mencer, who also registered two goals and one assist, and Corey Iapalucci, who also had one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. Ogden Mustangs also had goals scored by Craig Moore and Taylor Folk, who scored one goal each. Christoffer Sj���� made 12 saves before being replaced by Andreas Pettersson, who took the win and made 10 saves. Ogden Mustangs incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Ogden Mustangs ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Clements was ejected from the game. Maksims Resetnikovs recorded 49 saves for Colorado Evolution. Colorado Evolution incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
